Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 3 through 5. Children and their parent or caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.
Join us for some fun as we enjoy some gaming. We have two Nintendo Switches, an XboxOne, a Playstation 4, and a WiiU. We play E and T rated games only.
The LEGO Club will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. Join Library Staff at the Parker Senior Center for an informal drop in technology help session. Library staff will be available at the Parker Senior Center each first Thursday of the Month from 10:30 to 12:00.

Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children to read to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 838-0606.

Everyone is welcome! This story time is the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:30 am. We will read books, sing songs, and do a craft with a community helper. We are hoping this story time will help start great conversations for families. This month, we welcome Travis Heil from the Roosevelt Park Zoo!
We will help our community together and learn how to be Kindness Knights. During this program, we will meet at the Minot Public Library and help out Companions for Children. Kindness Knights is for children grades 2-6 on the second Saturday of the month at 1:00 pm.

The Friends of the Minot Public Library host a One Day Book Sale on Wednesday, 3/15 from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. This sale is a free will offering so shoppers are encouraged to take what they want and pay what they can – all proceeds will go to the Friends of the Library.
