Art Seminar: Sarah Justice
September 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pmFree
Museum Professional and Artist Sarah Justice, INT’L All Media 2022 Juror, will be presenting virtually to Art Seminar students at Minot State University’s Memorial Hall Room 114 at 12:00 pm on September 30.
Justice earned her BFA from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA and her MFA from the University of Montana, Missoula, MT. She has 25 years’ experience in the arts, both as an artist and museum administrator. Justice is the Executive Director of the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art in Great Falls, Montana. Her artwork focuses on aspects of the human condition, digging deeply into the emotional and psychological realms of human consciousness throughout time.
Justice is known for her work as a figurative sculptor, however, the road to that path varied beginning with drawing, photography, and painting. Drawing and painting continue to inform her sculptural work by providing another voice and acts as a meditative practice in her everyday life. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States, featured in multiple publications such as 500 Figures in Clay, and has won numerous awards based on artistic merit.
