Discussion Series: “Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother’s Will to Survive

In preparation for author Stephanie Land’s event for Independence Inc. on the 27th, join community members and area community resource providers to discuss the nonfiction book “Maid” and obstacles people face in order to survive. A limited number of copies of the book will be available for readers to keep – stop by the Library in September to claim yours. Attendees at the September 13th discussion will be entered into a drawing to win 2 tickets to “A Building Dreams Event: A Night with Stephanie Land” on September 27th.
