Happy Auer Arts is a small business founded by artist Hannah Auer. From a very young age, I was driven to create and spread happiness through my artwork. After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in Intermedia Art and a minor in art history, I knew that my dream to become a fulltime artist was so close, yet so far away. Being a fulltime artist was something I knew wouldn’t be an easy task. From working multiple jobs alongside building my clientele for Happy Auer Arts, to moving constantly due to the military, it took years of patience. Once my husband and I moved to Minot, I decided it was time to take the next step and become a legitimate North Dakota small business owner.
My mission is to help my clients and collectors create an atmosphere of calmness and peace. My pieces are inspired by music and nature. When combined, I believe I can create something that can bring endless happiness to the soul. I hope in some way that my art can lift people up and bring joy to their lives. I want it to take you to another world. Remember to always support small business!

I feel so incredibly lucky to be where I am. Immersed in a community that appreciates and supports the arts as much as I do. The first week I was here I met Justin, Director of the Minot Area Council of the Arts, who pointed me in many directions to get involved, such as The Taube and Artspace Suite 1; two amazing galleries. Then I met the AMAZING women at Artmain who immediately got me involved in Minot’s annual downtown Art Walk. Those gals have become a lot more like family to me and I appreciate them so much!
