The Minot Symphony, a university and community orchestra, aims to enrich lives by providing opportunities for musicians and inspiration to patrons through education and the performance of diverse orchestral repertoire. The Minot Symphony Association provides volunteer and financial support to help the Minot Symphony Orchestra achieve its mission. Since 1926, the Minot Symphony Orchestra has been a unique blend of student, community, and professional musicians from NW ND. The symphony is directed by Maestro Efraín Amaya, assistant professor of music at Minot State University and provides 6 public performances annually.
