Hi, I’m V and I am getting awesomer. (Yay! Branding) I have been in the Minot Community since a blustery winter’s day in 2015. Six years later, I call Minot home. My formal art education is in digital art, design, and photography. Once upon a time, I studied art in DC and obtained my BA in studio art. (Yay, for doing the degree thing). I have two wonderful, creative little people in life, an amazing partner, and a fish that won’t die. I work for a small nonprofit and wear many hats in the community. I have created ads for print and digital media, produced a coloring book, wine bottle labels, beautified public buildings, produced photography for families and businesses, produced promotional videos, served as a consultant for many creative projects, and am currently working with emerging artists. I am inspired by round gallery spaces, Yves Klein, raw pigment, “happenings”, and street art. I love creating to create and find so much joy in seeing how people interact with art in public spaces. My current focus for growtg is chalk art in public spaces and creative an interactive, community based mural. Through my art, I hope to reclaim myself as an artist and inspire others to pick up a pen, a brush, a tutu or whatever speaks to them and jump! Geronimo!
