Designed by local artist Roxi Homelvig Mathis
, there is a lot to discover in our new logo: from sun dogs and colorful sunsets, to artistic expression, starting with the basic building blocks of art, radiating from the heart of Minot. Roxi’s design highlights artistic and cultural diversity and inclusion, while holding a strong sense of local community. We’re excited for our new look! When we set off on this journey to create a new logo for the Minot Area Council of the Arts, we knew we wanted something clean and modern, but with a local element and strong colors. Roxi became the perfect designer for what we were looking for. Those who know her style can clearly see her influence in this beautiful new icon.
We wouldn’t have a new logo without first taking the step for a new website. We knew the old Minot Area Council of the Arts website was tired, outdated, and lacked the elements we knew we needed to best support our members and appeal to visitors. Adam Dyess with WebFunnel Express took on the challenge of building a completely new site, and we are so happy for this radical new update. Searchable member profiles, events calendars with the ability for members to submit their own events, contact and donation areas, and a modern look bring our web presence up to date in this dynamic new site.
