Minot State University Art Seminar: Allen TenBusschen

Artist and Painter Allen TenBusschen, Minot State Juried Student Show Juror, will be presenting to Art Seminar students at Minot State University’s Aleshire Theater at 12:00 pm on March 26.

Allen TenBusschen received his BFA from Brigham Young University Idaho and earned his MFA with a focus on painting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He has cultivated a robust exhibition record, with shows in New York, Boston, and Detroit, winning numerous awards and accolades. With a focus on figurative work, TenBusschen’s practice is about the search for authenticity, in our perceptions of one another and in the spaces we inhabit. TenBusschen is currently an Art Instructor at Williston State College.

Arts Seminar presentations offer students and the public the opportunity to learn about the work, lives and experiences of guest artists visiting Minot State University. This event is free and open to the public. We invite you to attend! Masks and physical distancing are required.

Aleshire Theater is located in Hartnett Hall on the Minot State University Campus. The presentation will also be streamed live on the Northwest Arts Center’s Facebook page.
