War, Peace, and Freedom Concert – Washburn

Dakota Pro Musica, North Dakota’s only professional choir, is presenting a special concert titled “War, Peace, and Freedom: A concert to honor our veterans”. The concert is being performed at First Lutheran Church in Washburn on Sunday, November 6th at 2:00 pm. A freewill offering will be collected at the door. The concert will feature Ralph Vaughan William’s famous Dona Nobis Pacem (Lord, Grant Us Peace), the last movement of Randall Thompson’s Testament of Freedom, and the famous Battle Hymn of the Republic. The concert is a partnership between Dakota Pro Musica, Bismarck State College Choirs, and the Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra.

The concert will be directed by Dr. Jason Thoms, Founder and Artistic Director of Dakota Pro Musica and Director of Choral Activities at Bismarck State College. Dawn Hagerott and Clyde Bauman will be the featured soloists.
