Hiya! I’m Jesi (she/her), caffeine enthusiast and internationally published mother of three. Photography has always been an interest since childhood, to the point where I dressed up my friends and made them model for me with my disposable camera, but I never had the support or means to explore my potential. Once I had kids I learned pretty quickly that my iPhone could only do so much, and in August of 2015 So Smith Photography was born.
When I picked up my very first adulthood camera, running a business was never my intention. I just wanted a way to show my children how magical and blessed their childhood was. One thing led to another and here we are many years and many many lenses later.
My passion lies in capturing genuine emotions and highlighting the beauty in the everyday. I focus on telling your story authentically and organically, bloopers and belly laughs included.
It would be my honor to photograph the journey you are on. Whether it’s your wedding day, a maternity session before baby arrives, or celebrating lifelong friendship on a mountaintop. Count me in.
