After School Kids Programs are scheduled for Mondays at 3:45 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. The activity-based programs are geared for school-age children (K-5). We do a different activity each time based on one of the STEAM principles.
Join us on the first Monday of the month for the hippest murder mystery party in town! There’s been a murder at Dance-A-Palooza and we’re gathering all the suspects, including you. Registration is required for this Adult program, dressing up is optional! This event will be held in the lower level North Meeting Room
Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 2 through 5. Children and their parent or caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.
Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children to read to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 838-0606.
This is a story time for the little ones, ages 0-3, and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays. Lap Sit Story Time will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station.
To celebrate National Library Week we are hosting a tea party for grandparents and their grandkids. Dress your best and come enjoy some snacks and a puppet show!
