Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 2 through 5. Children and their parent or caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.

Join us on the first Monday of the month for a totally tubular murder mystery party! Everything is going wrong on the “Valentine in Venice” harbor cruise aboard the Love Bucket. There’s been a murder, and it’s your job to figure out who did it. The suspects have all been gathered together, including you!

Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children to read to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 838-0606.

Get in touch with your crafty side! This month we will be making painted book stacks using books, paint and ribbon. This craft will be held in person, in the Library North Meeting Room. Give us a call or stop by to sign up for our adult craft program because space is limited.

The Minot Public Library will be hosting a movie matinee. The movies are open to adults and children of all ages- 5 and under MUST be with an adult. Feel free to bring your own snack and drink!
We will help our community together and learn how to be Kindness Knights. During this program, we will meet at the Minot Public Library and make Valentine’s for residents at Trinity Nursing Home. Kindness Knights is for children grades 2-6, on the second Saturday of the month at 1:00 pm.

The Friends of the Minot Public Library host a One Day Book Sale on Thursday, February 16th from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. This sale is a free will offering so shoppers are encouraged to take what they want and pay what they can – all proceeds will go to the Friends of the Library.
